In Conclusion

Instagram will likely be the go to social media platform for the NFL in the next 2 years. The NBA has solidified its marriage with Instagram since 2017 according to Sports Illustrated. Brandon Gayle, a 37-year-old Harvard Business School graduate, shifted to Instagram from Facebook in 2015. He stated,  “There’s symmetry because the NBA is built on superstars and Instagram is a platform with many public figures.”

As our team and it’s players get younger, us fans like you and I get seem to get older. Many fans who are stuck on Facebook will eventually make the jump to Instagram. Dallas Cowboys players favor both Instagram and Twitter over Facebook based upon my research.

Astonishingly the Dallas Cowboys are second (2.5 Million) to the New England Patriots (3 Million) with the most followers on their Instagram accounts. Please go follow the official Dallas Cowboys account so we can close this gap on them before the season kicks off. Let’s lead all 31 other NFL teams! GO follow them now!
