Meet 3 key members of this Facebook “Legacy Group”

During this summer I have realized there are more Dallas Cowboys fan groups on Facebook than any other team. That is because of course, we’re just not “any other” NFL fan base.

Instead of creating another ordinary group I wanted to set this one apart from all the rest. There are a couple that are very impressive, and thousands of members within them to boot. How would we separate ourselves form others?   It took a few days to come up with our concept. Than bang the Stars aligned!

Go big or go home. That was the mentality. After drafting Ezekiel Elliot, signing Alfred Morris, and retaining Darren McFadden the vision became clearer. Tony Romo was coming into a season with a full bill of health. With that receiving corps of ours we would shoot it out on the scoreboard with the best of them. Who needs defense right?

So I put it all on the line. Knowing the ridicule I would face from opposing fan bases. I published this video on July 19th, 10 days before training camp in Oxnard, CA. Declaring this would be the year Tony and company would “Make America*s Team Great Again.” Super Bowl 51 is in Houston this year. It has to be destiny.

While writing this blog post we eclipsed 4,000 members!

Starting a fan group from scratch takes time, and like an infant needs lots of attention. Most importantly it requires team work from members who buy into it’s concept.

Understanding the vision, and the purpose of our collective objective is key. Thanks to Matt Greene and his resources of groups with loyal members he helped add many new members.

My first key member is Yusuf Nahkooda. After I created a domain for our group, and the very blog you’re reading from he volunteered to contribute as an Admin and blog contributor. Yusuf is very connected to the Dallas fan base and various clubs across the nation. He led me to Jennifer Sanchez who is also the Vice President of her Cowboys Club in Corpus Christi. She also act’s as an Admin in our group.

Honorable mentions are Curt, who is a blog contributor here, and Captain Cowboy who assist’s on our group’s fan page. All of these outstanding members are contributing to our “Legacy Group,” and it’s vision.

We personally invite you to come join us. Come make history with us. Once we win the Super Bowl, this will be the first group ever to have achieved this milestone. Upgrade your fan status today, and get connected with a winning group! #officialamericasteam

In conclusion our group will be one of the first to play together as a team in the first ever live interactive sports application called Fire Fan. Click here to preregister today @ Fire Fan.  Our first game will be on Thanksgiving Day against the Redskins. Watch this video, and come play with us in our group!
