Why this group of Cowboys fans are 3 games away from a legacy

Assembling an elite group of Dallas Cowboys fans online during a magical season is only 3 post season games away from becoming a reality.

Everything is bigger and better in Texas

Let’s take a trip down memory lane about 5 months ago. July 19, 2016 to be exact. I can show you better than I can tell you here. For those who prefer to read, I put it all on the line. Proclaiming that 2017 would be the year that the Dallas Cowboys would storm into Houston and win Super Bowl 51 shocking the world!

Fast forward to week 16 of this NFL season. With a  little help from a divisional foe we locked up the NFC East Division Championship. Thank you Philadelphia Eagles. Also a 1st round bye with home field advantage. Therefore the road to Super Bowl 51 goes through Dallas. Essentially not having to play a game out of state to represent on the big stage in Houston next February.

Dallas Cowboys

The first legacy Facebook group of it’s kind.

How do you feel “Legacy Group” members? As we approach 10,000 members it appears our group is the premier group. A family like culture where all members are respected and valued as fans. Now don’t get me wrong we have had our moments up to this point. However all in all I am proud to be apart of this esteemed community. We’re doing big things!

Staying focused on the ultimate prize

This past week we had 5 members of our team selected to the Pro Bowl. Unfortunately Sean Lee was left off. Many members in our group and I were upset. However we must stay focused on the big picture. A Super Bowl 51 appearance this season means not one of our players will likely play in Orlando for that game. No hard feelings General Lee. See you in the big dance. That is the goal!

This season has been magical. Almost as if destiny has aligned all the Stars. Either way our young rookies (Dak And Zeke) are dominating the league, and have rallied the rest of the team behind this season. Despite the 2 losses coming from the Giants, we are in control of our own destiny in the playoffs. I like our chances playing at home during the 2 games needed to get us to Houston for the big dance.

Not having to leave the state to play a playoff game is a tribute to this teams hard work, and focus. I couldn’t be more proud to be apart of something as special as we have here with our “Legacy Group” and the season America*s Team is having!

As we head into the  Christmas holiday this weekend I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New year. From my family to yours. We have NFL/NBA games to watch with family and friends all weekend.

More importantly the day after we have America*s Team on prime time one last time as we take on the Detroit Lions at AT&T Stadium. My prediction is we will break the TV ratings again, and continue to keep the lights on for the NFL, as our team plays lights out!

Show your Cowboys pride while bringing in 2017!
