10 NBA players represent Dallas Cowboys as their favorite NFL team

The NBA just tipped off its 77th season this October. The NFL on the other foot is in the middle of week 8 of its 17-game season. Super Bowl 57 in Arizona next February is a mutual point of interest for both leagues especially when it comes to these 10 NBA players who authentically represent the Dallas Cowboys as their favorite NFL team.

The recent news of LeBron James publicly stating he no longer represents the Dallas Cowboys triggered this listicle. A few days prior on Instagram I asked my audience who their favorite NBA player was that also loves the Cowboys. I thought it was neat who I put on the cover photo of this REEL.

In addition, I wanted to collaborate with my supporters to create an authentic listicle of ten NBA players here who genuinely love the Dallas Cowboys as their favorite NFL team. This list does not feature LeBron James. I knew my gut feeling about him was right all along.

After canvassing my supporters and audience here is the compiled list of 10 players below. Our mission here was to list those NBA players who genuinely and authentically represent America’s Team. Not a player chasing clout or one who switches up on the Dallas Cowboys. Thank you to all those who participated.

This content was brought to you by GANG GANG and my Facebook Supporters exclusively. A group project literally. Learn more about how you can impact this content also at the conclusion of this listicle. Do you shop online at Fanatics?

1. Shaquille Oneal

Do you remember when SHAQ was on The Rich Eisen Show this year? How he was campaigning for Deion Sanders to leave JSU and come coach America’s Team? Yeah, Dak part. Nobody can question whether the BIG FELLA is a genuine fan of the Dallas Cowboys as a result.

2. Chris Paul

CP3 grew up in North Carolina, but also grew up when the Cowboys were in their heyday of the early 90s, so it makes sense. Currently still active with the Phoenix Suns. You know it’s official when the Dallas Cowboys official Twitter posts you.

3. Allen Iverson

Also known as “The Answer” originally from Hampton, VA this NBA player is also a well-known Dallas Cowboys fan who built his legacy in The City of Brotherly Love playing for the Philadelphia 76ers. Practice? There is no practice when it comes to AI3 representing the Dallas Cowboys. Looking back, maybe that Reebok deal that is still paying him currently was some FREE GAME Jerry Jones shared with him below.

4. John Wall

Originally from Raleigh North Carolina, there is no doubt this NBA player’s favorite team is the Dallas Cowboys. Currently with the LA Clippers, according to him, he grew up a Momma’s boy. In addition, growing up the Dallas Cowboys were on the tube in his house. Although he has shown support for the Commander while in DC it was simply southern hospitality.

“I’ve been a Cowboys fan since I was born. I was a momma’s boy. That’s the team I grew up watching play. It ain’t like I just switched to the Cowboys all of a sudden when I got to D.C. I like the Cowboys, because of my mom,” Wall said in 2010. “People aren’t going to like me because of that. I got to stay with the Cowboys because I can’t switch teams, but I’m going to support D.C. no matter what. I’m in between. I’ll be cheering for both of them, but I won’t let anybody know.” ~John Wall

5. Deandre Jordan

Originally from Houston, TX, this NBA player stopped for a tour in the city of Dallas from 2018-2019. What’s really neat is how he is also linked with 2 fellow Mavericks when it comes to their favorite NFL team the Dallas Cowboys. Currently playing with the Denver Nuggets not many new Jordan was actually a Dallas Cowboys fan. Deandre that is. It’s clear he is up on the 88 Legacy Lineage in addition.

6. Dirk Nowitzki

You can’t spell Nowitzki without the double you. In addition, he is originally from Wurzburg, West Germany. Arguably likely the GOAT when it comes to European NBA players. It gets neater. He played with both Deandre Jordan and Luka Doncic in Dallas. Imagine Dak. Three starters on an NBA team all Dallas Cowboys fans.

7. Luka Doncic

Do you remember when I mentioned earlier the NBA was in its 77th Season? When you do the math the Dallas Mavericks have a special #77 from Ljubljana, Slovenia. The capital and largest city of Slovenia. It is the country’s cultural, educational, economic, political, and administrative center. Pictured below together at a Giants game in Jerry’s world last year. Mark Cuban sure knows how to pick’em. Is it safe to say the Dallas Cowboys are now the “World’s Team?”

8. Russell Westbrook

As we continue to roll with the west coast originally from Long Beach, CA, and currently on the Los Angeles Lakers RUSS is in search of more triple-doubles. What, you thought I wasn’t going to have a receipt? Both he and John Wall were on the Wizards, but Dallas holds firm with 3 starters who chose the Dallas Cowboys as their favorite team. Russell gets the 88 Legacy Lineage too. RUSS even gave well-known DC native and Commanders fan Kevin Durant the business on Twitter. Let that sink in.

9. J.R. Smith

It’s a classic that both JR Smith and LeBron James played together as NBA players and Cowboys fans. Well, that was until Bron’s recent news. Originally from Freehold Borough New Jersey he conveniently reminds fellow NFC East division rival New York Giants fans who won this game. You know we like to keep receipts around here.

10. Grant Hill

I came into this project with this player in mind to conclude the list. Mainly because of the twist between the fates of both the NFL and the NBA when it came to Grant Hill. I remember watching him at Duke in the Final Four as a kid. As the only kid growing up Grant fell in love with the game of basketball while his father played for the Dallas Cowboys, you know Calvin Hill.

Born in Dallas Texas he went to high school in Virginia. If there was ever a time anyone on planet earth could technically say they worn born a Dallas Cowboys fan it would be Hill. Calvin Hill rushed for 6,083 yards in 12 NFL seasons for the Cowboys, Redskins, and Browns. Grant has played 15 seasons in the NBA for the Pistons, Magic, and Suns.

“We are so saddened to learn of the passing of Janet Hill. First and foremost, she was a wonderful grandmother, mother, wife, and a cherished member of the Dallas Cowboys Family. Janet was also a remarkable leader and role model for many while making an indelible impact on those she knew and worked with. She uniquely served and benefited our community and our country in very special ways over the course of her amazing life journey. Our prayers are with Calvin, Grant, the entire Hill family and so many others who were touched and enriched by having Janet in their lives, like we did.” ~Jones Family
