How to go deep sea fishing in Alaska with Dallas Cowboys fans annually

WINGS, WHEELS, & BOOTS ON BOAT

Ever thought about going deep sea fishing in Alaska during the Dallas Cowboys off-season? At the 2021 NFL Draft in Las Vegas, A Facebook supporter of mine named RC was in town on business. We met up and had a drink, and this is when he dropped the GAFT (Great Alaskan Fishing Trip) concept in my lap for our exclusive Facebook community.

When builders connect they plot to build by nature together. Fast forward 2 years later and that vision manifested between two Cowboys fans. I have never been to Alaska before. This would be a new first. Flying “Wings In Air” from the Lower 48 on the West Coast to the 49th State provided the opportunity to connect them with our exclusive network.

RC and BG at the bar in Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas during 2021 discussing the GAFT in its infancy.

RC and his son Roquez both became BDG content supporters over 2 years ago and have been since. Now all 3 of us have a vested interest in what I’m about to share with you today. After getting a test run “Wheels On Ground” this past June we collectively look to expand our trip with Saltwater Safari next year. With a social media twist. Each June Dallas Cowboys fans will see this window of opportunity open. Not just for Dallas Cowboys fans in Alaska either. Like Kim Klayum a local fan who outfished the whole boat on our initial launch. Well played, Kim.

Here is the trip overview. Fly into Anchorage from the lower 48 on a Wednesday. Lodge for a night and pack up the tackle boxes for an early morning Thursday departure. Hook the GPS up to navigate us to Seward, AK. About a 3-hour trip which is ranked among one of the top 10 most scenic rides with several photo opportunities and stops. Arrive at exclusive AIRBNB lodging for the first night.  Awake then get underway and fish all day “Boots On Boat” Friday. After docking our group will have dinner, and lodge on our final night. Awake and return on Saturday morning to Anchorage.

With a population of 2,717 people as of the 2020 census,  Seward is the fourth-largest city in the Kenai Peninsula Borough, behind Kenai, Homer, and the borough seat of Soldotna. The city is named for former United States Secretary of State William H. Seward, who orchestrated the United States purchase of Alaska from the Russian Empire in 1867 while serving in this position as part of President Andrew Johnson’s administration.

Watch For The Hook Dallas Cowboys Fans

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a 4-minute recap video from the beautiful ride out to our eventual return with a boatload of fish is worth a lifetime of memories. I work for my Facebook Supporters as a content creator. Without them, this trip would have not been possible. Especially from the financial aspect. Thank you and here is the final product for the world to see.

Next year’s trip will be by BDG invite only. We currently have 8 RSVPs from very influential platforms on social media. Both on and off the grid. Our focus this time around is to land some whales within our fanbase on the boat next summer. Why? Both RC and BG are playing the long game here. Our vision potentially sees 2, maybe 3 trips each summer after gaining momentum from our planned 2025 offering.

This was essentially a PROTOTYPE run if you will. Proof of concept is there and mutual interest among many fans who plan to attend in the coming years. Besides we see all our favorite Dallas Cowboys players like Dak Prescott “Boots On Boat” in Mexico each summer. It only makes sense now that AK is open for business. Build it and they will come.

What a lifetime memory made with 5 other Cowboys fans from Alaska. I’m so thankful for RC and all the logistical planning he put into this conceptual idea of his. Together with the BDG Network we now have an Anchor in RC when it comes to AK. Together he and I will be working behind the scenes for next year’s project. How can you attend this exclusive trip? Contact me directly for more details. Here is the recap video as promised.

Conclusion

It’s amazing what 2 Cowboys fans can do when they put their heads together. It’s perfect timing if you ask me. Imagine your favorite Dallas Cowboys player coming along for the trip. Oh, it will happen. Both RC and I’s favorite Cowboy of all time is Drew Pearson. He would be a great PERSON to start with ya think? 88 Behavior?

Who knows what can happen in a year? Look what happened in 3. Now our exclusive Facebook community and Cowboys fan network spans the entire west coast right into Seward, AK. When you support BDG content on Facebook you get exclusive access to these Green Badge experiences first.

Thank you again to those who made this happen. Especially RC and Roquez. I can’t wait until next summer to bring it back to share with you again here. Be sure to subscribe to the only blog sharing stories about Dallas Cowboys fans in Alaska like this one. Yes, there are diehard Cowboys fans in the 49th State who represent their teams well and know how to put a worm on the hook.

Connect with Built Different Group on Facebook today. We are looking for other like-minded Cowboys fans to help grow our platform and network this season. Especially those who like to fish. Is that you? Bring that thought into your reality next summer with RC and BG an our Great Alaskan Fishing Trip.
