Making cents of social media monetization for veterans

THE COLOR ORANGE

April 16th-18th, I plan to attend Military Creator Con in Arlington, TX. I will conduct an exclusive panel of several veteran content creators. I will cover Facebook monetization, while other veterans will cover Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. You’re invited!

Subconciously the color orange has recently dominated my brand. Orange color psychology links the hue to high energy, enthusiasm, creativity, and warmth. Why is this color seeping into my content now? Here’s what Hill had to say about the Mystery of Sex Transmutation.

I bought my copy of Think and Grow Rich more than 20 years ago. Ever since, it has been my creative roadmap for my social media monetization journey. In addition, this classic has given my content new meaning, even though I initially sought the book for leadership.

Now, Hill’s manuscript will inspire me to assemble a panel of fellow veteran content creators to share their journeys to monetizing on social media. It just makes sense, right? I’m extremely thankful to a fellow veteran on LinkedIn who made this possible. Jason Cavness.

In addition to speaking on Facebook monetization I will lead a panel of other veteran creators to cover addtional social media platforms.

The Stars aligned for me in the universe as a Cowboys content creator this April. This event happens just before the NFL Draft at the Arlington Hotel near AT&T Stadium. I also plan to tour the Medal of Honor Museum during my trip to Arlington. More details to come.

Thanks to Jason, I joined him on his podcast last April after he engaged with my Cowboys content on LinkedIn. We spun the block in February this year to create promo content for Military Creator Con to reach other PNW veterans. Here’s a call to action for fellow veterans.

Making it Make Cents

Veterans are naturally more tech-savvy than most. Now is the time to leverage that skill set and make it make cents in 2026. I create with a purpose. To inspire others to create and get paid! According to Statista, in 2025, we spend 2 hours and 21 minutes daily on social media.

How is your (ROI) Return On that Investment? If ZERO, that’s opportunity knocking now. Do you hear it? I’m excited to network with other veteran creators to see what I can learn at this event. Come along with me on the journey.

This event is one of many experiences on my 2026 “Cowboys Content Calendar,” which I’m publishing here on April 1st. This will require you to have my State Board of Governors membership to access. It will include which 3 Cowboys road games I will plan to attend when the NFL schedule is released this May.
