NFL 18 Game Global Potential

Yesterday I read that Roger Goodell and the league are “Doing Analysis” on a potential 18-game season. Did you see the first regular game next season will played in Berlin?

“We are doing analysis I would say, but we are not finalizing any plans at this point,” Goodell said, via NFL Media. Goodell added that the league will share their analysis with the players union, which would have to agree to any change to the regular season schedule.

My son Bryce is a Freshman at Graham High School in WA State. He was the C-team Captain and led the Freshman squad to a title. He was subsequently brought up to Varsity for the playoffs. He played in the first, and they lost in the second round of playoffs this season.

WA State also passed the Name Image Likeness (NIL) Law in June of this year.

NIL refers to a person’s right of publicity, which entitles a person to monetize the use of their NIL for commercial benefit. The NCAA adopted guidelines in 2021 that allow individuals to engage in NIL activities consistent with the law of the state where the school is located.  Via SWX

I told my son that by the time he gets to the league, he will be playing 2 overseas games per year. In addition, 2 BYE weeks instead of one. The game is growing globally. Now is the time to pay attention.

The Cowboys are expected to play in Mexico City’s Estadio Azteca in 2026. The stadium is undergoing renovations in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Mexico is that you that I hear calling me?
