Dallas Cowboys

The NFL State of YouTube 2025

ALL 32 STREAMS

In this third installment of my BIG3 platform research, I share the current YouTube channel numbers for all 32 teams. Why? There’s a BIGGER picture I want to share with you today, especially for content creators on their journey to monetization —again, like me.

I’ve incorporated video into my content resume on YouTube, thanks in part to SHORTS. On Facebook and Instagram, these are REELS—same vertical video, different platform and name. Now SHORTS can help you get monetized. It requires 3M SHORTS views in 90 days.

For almost a decade, I’ve used CANVA to create vertical videos for my BIG3 platforms. One video to share on three platforms. Work smarter, not harder, creators. Create long-term. This is my strategy now after researching Google-owned YouTube. ALL 32 SUBS are growing fast.

GAME OF STREAMS

Have you ever wondered why YouTube videos appear in your Google searches? That’s because Google owns YouTube. While working for Comcast for almost 3 years after my military retirement, I developed the “Comcast Cowboy” game-of-streams concept.

The NFL and Google’s deal for NFL Sunday Ticket runs for 7 years, beginning with the 2023 season and ending in 2029. The agreement is worth approximately $14 billion in total, averaging about $2 billion per season, according to reports.

IN CONCLUSION

Why is this important to know? Video is king for content creators. This week, I dove into the NFL State of YouTube in my BIG3 series. The past 2 Saturdays I shared the 2025 State of Facebook and Instagram. I’m part of the reason it’s so hard to get monetized on YouTube.

On my 2nd go-round, I have to play by the rules now. Follow me this season as I head toward monetization, again. I will share my journey to inform you on what to do—and what not to do. Every Saturday, get a shot of social media FREE GAME. Take it from a veteran.

Next Saturday, I will share which streaming tool I prefer. I’ve been streaming on Streamyard for almost a decade. It has just released some excellent features that I will share with you here on Creator Hub next week.

I give away a ton of FREE GAME each Saturday here, but to get my weekly NFL picks and fantasy football insights today, you will need my RAISE THE BAR membership to access my RECAP & RELOAD every Tuesday. Doing so qualifies you to compete to win a flight next July to fish with the “Coldest Cowboys Fans” I know in Anchorage, AK.
