What all 32 NFL Instagram content creators need to know in 2025

In this Saturday’s edition of Creator HUB, I took the pleasure of researching all 32 NFL teams’ Instagram followings to share with you. This is important for NFL content creators. Why? I like to call it creator due diligence.
Last week, I shared the 2025 NFL State of Facebook. Two NFL teams now share the most-followed Instagram accounts. Can you guess them? No. It’s not the Kansas City Chiefs with 4.4M followers. Stay tuned for the TOP 10 most followed NFL players in 2025 below.

In 2025, Instagram remains one of the world’s largest social media platforms with approximately 2 billion monthly active users. That could change by this time next year, so stay tuned here. ODB wears the NFL player crown at 17.2M followers.
SWIFTIES are outside the TOP 10 most-followed Instagram accounts according to MASHABLE. They do outnumber the NFL’s total 98.1M. Travis Kelce makes the NFL TOP 10. Cristiano Ronaldo has 1/4 of Instagram’s followers, with 666M. Think about that.

It’s essential to know your audience and its potential when creating content. The NFL Instagram has 31.9M, all 32 teams combined for 65.1M, for a total of 97M total followers.
The NFL scheduled 52 Prime Time games in 2025. The NFC East garnered 19, for a total league-wide share of 36%. The NFC East has a total of 14.1 million Instagram followers.

After researching all the NFL Instagrams, I wanted to know which players were the most followed on the GRAM, and just like last week’s TOP 10 Facebook, this week I share the TOP 10 NFL players followed on Instagram.
Between Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, these are my BIG3 platforms I’m focused on in 2025. Next week I will share the NFL State of YouTube. Like Facebook and Instagram, I will research each NFL channel and share my findings with you next Saturday.
