I may be a day late, but never a dollar short. After a devastating home loss on MNF Vs the Cardinals, I had to get my life together. I slept on it, the blockbuster trade deadline came and went, and now we look forward to week 10 of this NFL season—crazy, right? There’s more.

Did you know there is still one BLOCKBUSTER location in the nation remaining open? I’m ashamed to share because it’s in my backyard. I even drove through there in 2020. I might drive to BEND in December. Keep reading to learn more.

In terms of fantasy football, I took 3 L’s this week—one loss thanks to the top-scoring player, TE Brock Bowers. That led me to recap this week with a TWIST. This week, all four offensive positions were in the top five in scoring. QB, RB, WR, and lastly TE.

In terms of my picks, that’s another story. I had a dismal week, YET again with an 8-6 record, resulting in my season average win rate percentage at 62% (82-52). With the Cowboys on a BYE, my PPP continues. Congrats to the 2023 GROTY on a points victory in 4 four-way tie.

Usually, this portion of my weekly newsletter would require my RAISE THE BAR membership. I wanted to use the BYE week to entice your support today. After the NFL trade deadline came and went, that MNF loss taste is out of my mouth. Your team’s BYE is different from fantasy.

Whether it is for the short or long term, Jerry stood on business with completing multiple trades this year. I will shut up now that the Cowboys have initiated operation “Restore Hope.” With the BYE week at hand, we can nurse some injuries and get healthy for SIN CITY.

I will be boots on the ground with One Star One Family on both Sunday and Monday. Did you realize we are playing MNF in LV? I will have my exclusive timeline for the State Board of Governors available soon. The Cowboys made deals, and we still have picks and money left.

This week marked the first time a TE led the league in scoring on ESPN. RB has dominated with four weeks, while QB and WR each have two. I’m thankful Dallas has a run game again. This FLUS defense now has new toys. We’ll see what the BYE WEEK BEHAVIOR brings.
