The IGLOO plug; SuperCowboy & Chill at your next tailgate
IGLOO & The NFL are chillin’ together now. Thanks to SuperCowboy for this fresh of cold breath air to spread the word among all Cowboys fans this year. Many Cowboys fans like you and I grew up watching the movie, Superman. He had those cool superpowers like superhuman strength, enhanced hearing, and most importantly cold breath.
IGLOO kicked off its first officially licensed NFL soft side coolers as part of its expanded NFL collection, featuring custom designs for 15 NFL teams. Equipping them from the tailgate to the final whistle. Back in 2018 I initially ran into SuperCowboy while Boots On Ground in Los Angeles, CA at an SCDCFC tailgate. The original fan club and the oldest listed in our club directory to date.
In 2022 readers here learned who my HELMET plug actually was. The year before that in ’21 was my HAT plug. Now we have an official IGLOO plug. Word-of-mouth marketing (WOMM) is in action among NFL fans at its finest. Tailgating for many Cowboys fans is a way of life. Since ’16 between both LOT 10 & 11 at AT&T Stadium, I have experienced this lifestyle as a result.
Furthermore, did you know IGLOO was a product made right outside of Houston, TX in a small town called Katy? Learning this I wanted to share it with my readers here on OAT. How you can not only support a product made in Texas but in addition my friend and Dallas Cowboys Super Fan SuperCowboy.
Who is SuperCowboy anyway?
Last year I learned about SuperCowboy running for the Ford Hall of Fans. An annual contest for NFL fans to get a chance to be recognized where the birthplace of football happens to be. Canton, OH. In the process, we did a show on Built Different Group to help raise awareness for Cowboys fans to cast their vote. What drove him to create this Super Fan character within the Dallas Cowboys fan base?
Miguel Castellanos first became a fan watching the Cowboys defeat the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXVII in 1993. A native of Mexico, he dresses up in costume for every home game and enjoys posing for pictures with other fans. This is where his mask comes into play thanks to his Mexican roots.
He has also made an impact in his community by taking the time to feed the homeless and support charitable organizations, including Ronald McDonald House, Toys for Tots, The Salvation Army, and March of Dimes. “When I saw my first Super Bowl, I was mesmerized by the team with the star on their helmets,” he said. He was nominated by my all-time favorite NFL player Drew Pearson for the Ford Hall Of Fans.
IGLOO & Chill at your next NFL tailgate
Last week Supercowboy called my bat phone and shared that breath of cold fresh air about IGLOO with me. In addition, he shipped me a brand-new cooler because that’s how (WOMM) word-of-mouth marketing works. Since ’16 I have partnered with many brands like Amazon, Canva, and SiriusXM. Much like our IGLOO plug has.
Fan Base Creators should adopt this mentality of representing the brands that matter to them most. Growing up IGLOO has been a staple in my family from BBQs to fishing trips on the Texas gulf coast. With their recent partnership with the NFL now is your chance to attend your next tailgate in style at AT&T Stadium just like SuperCowboy.
Be sure to connect with SuperCowboy on his social media like Instagram below, and Tik Tok. Finally, you can also tune in to his radio show in the metroplex where they talk all things Dallas Cowboys and current events on the radio metroplex. If you would like to check out all of IGLOO’s initial rollout of their NFL coolers learn more here.

Superman was also part of a DC club by the way. He also happens to be SuperCowboy’s favorite character. This is how the mask and name came together. I’m thankful he gave me the opportunity to share his story and spread the good news. For more 411 on IGLOO be sure to contact him directly.
